Contemporary and traditional architecture are combined to feature light wooden floors, expanses of glass, modern steel framed pergolas with wood paneling and natural stone walling. Crisp white and smooth greys teamed with accents of stainless steel complete the sleek stylish finish of the minimalist interior.

The huge glass doors open on to the grand swimming pool terrace that appears to float over the sea below and beyond. Relax in heavenly luxury and just drift away!

THE OUTSIDE

The unobstructed stunning sea and mountain views, as well as the proximity of the water create a unique feeling. The shady pergolas, comfortable soft seating, outdoor dining area, heated pool and beautifully landscaped gardens of Aria are the perfect combination of relaxation, comfort, pleasure and nature.

GROUND FLOOR

Large open plan living area with comfortable soft seating, open fireplace, dining area for 8 persons and a fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. The large full height glass sliding doors provide an uninterrupted view over the sea, mountains and outdoor heated swimming pool.

FIRST FLOOR

The first floor consists of two bedrooms: a master suite with ‘Dux’ king size bed, ensuite bathroom with awe-inspiring views, separate shower and jacuzzi and a second room with ‘Dux’ twin beds that can be converted to king size and a large ensuite. Both rooms open up into the balcony through sliding glass doors.

LOWER GROUND FLOOR

The third bedroom has ‘Dux’ twin beds that can be converted to king size, extensive fitted wardrobes and access to a spacious, luxury spa bathroom with steam shower, sauna and mini gym (available to all house guests). Its rear sliding glass doors open onto a private courtyard garden which provides access to the swimming pool terrace.

Fresh produce is available daily from local markets while restaurants and tavernas offer a choice of international cuisine or traditional home cooked specialties typical of the healthy “Mediterranean Diet”.

Almirida is an ideal base for exploring the many picturesque inland villages, dramatic mountain gorges and some of the island’s best beaches and sheltered bays nearby.

Chania, the capitol of West Crete, is only 30 minutes’ drive and has a beautiful Venetian Harbor with a fascinating history. Wander through the many narrow lanes filled with Venetian, Turkish and Byzantine style buildings. You can also find all the facilities and amenities that you would expect of a modern city with fine restaurants, bars, clubs, live music, traditional harbor side tavernas and fashionable shops.

Indeed, there is so much to explore and experience. You can hire a car or bicycle or even take a boat ride along the coast. Some of the best scenery can be seen on foot. There are many walks or treks along mountain paths and gorges including the world-famous Samaria Gorge.

Other activity pursuits include horse riding, tennis, golf, go-karting and climbing. Most water sports are available including, diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, sailing, fishing, jet skiing and water-skiing.

There are many Health & Fitness canters offering a range of beauty treatments and alternative therapies including massage, reflexology, reiki and yoga. Cultural interests include museums, archaeological sites, ancient towns, churches, monasteries, folklore festivals, theatre and cinemas (open air in the summer).

One master size bedroom (2 persons) – located in the lower ground floor – with twin beds that can convert to king size and a sharing bathroom with shower and WC.

Adjoining to the third bedroom is a private garden area.

Shared big steam shower/hammam room (6 persons).
