Welcome to “The Salt Boutique Houses” in Naxos! Our picturesque beach houses in Plaka are situated in a magnificent location of a small distance from the sea. Found in an idyllic place suitable for you and your family, our five unique villas are easily accessible and cover an area of 5.000 m2 which runs all the way down to the beach. The small private garden full of local flora, the Cycladic Architecture and the unobstructed view of the Aegean Sea, all contribute to providing to you a lasting memory of the Cycladic landscape.

Our Houses & Villas

Our boutique accommodation in Plaka, Naxos consists of a complex of five two or three bedroom houses. The houses are eco-friendly and characterized by the material and furniture used.

NOTOS, DISI, SELINI

Those beach maisonettes are our two-floor apartments of around 75 sqm and consist of two bedrooms. The ground floor consists of a comfortable living room with a T.V., a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a refrigerator, kitchenware, and a Nespresso coffee machine and a double-bedded bedroom with its bathroom and veranda.

The low level which goes down a few stairs has another bedroom with a double bed and a single bed with its bathroom as well. There is a possibility for another bed or baby cot if necessary.

Notos, Disi, and Selini can accommodate up to 6 persons each.

ILIOS

This villa is a three-floor apartment of around 85 sqm and three bedrooms. On the ground floor, there is a living room with a T.V.,a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a refrigerator, kitchenware, and a Nespresso coffee machine and a double bedded bedroom with its bathroom and veranda.

On the first floor, there is another double bedded bedroom with its veranda and sea view.

The low which goes down a few stairs has another bedroom with a double bed and two single beds with a private bathroom.

Up to 8 persons can stay in Ilios Villa.

ANATOLI

This boutique apartment in Naxos is also a three-floor house with three bedrooms of around 85 sqm.

The ground floor has a cozy living room with a T.V, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, a refrigerator, a Nespresso machine and kitchenware and a double bedded bedroom with its veranda and bathroom.

On the first floor, there is another double bedded bedroom with its veranda and sea view.

The low which goes down a few stairs has another bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom.

ΕCO FRIENDLY

Having nature and environment protection as our faithful guides, we decided to build an eco-friendly villas accommodation in Naxos, with respect for nature and man and according to the Cycladic architecture which has been widely acknowledged for its uniqueness throughout the world.

In our eco boutique villas, we assign great importance to the collection and processing of our visitors’ waste, so we have placed recycling bins in every corner of our premises.

Moreover, we follow a rational policy in water consumption, so our facilities are supplied with water exclusively through our rainwater harvesting systems from water tanks, thus offering autonomy in our water supply system.

MATERIAL & FURNITURE

For the construction of our premises, we made the selection of our materials with great attention and diligence to achieve an excellent result in absolute compliance with our eco-friendly philosophy and Cycladic architecture.

MATERIAL

Having decided from the very beginning not to use air-conditioners, we built 60 cm thick walls, using the best insulation materials to achieve a high-quality heat and acoustic insulation result. In combination with the use of ecological interior color paints and the exterior thermoplastic paints, we managed to make sure that nothing would disturb our visitors. Furthermore -for hot summer days- there are always the ceiling fans for natural room cooling.

Always remaining loyal to traditional Cycladic architecture, we used wooden window frames with the characteristic internal window shutters, which provide protection from the meltemia of the Aegean Sea (Greek northern winds) and room darkening which is absolutely necessary.

The same philosophy of natural room darkening is used for the verandas of the villas where hewn chestnut wood from Mount Athos along with Greek cane are combined to create the pergolas which shadow the outdoor deck.

The lighting of indoor spaces has been specially designed for ‘To the Salt Boutique Houses’ from the earthly material of clay painted in Aegean white colour.

The natural method of forged cement from environmentally friendly materials has been used for the stairs, the bathrooms, the baths and the built-in beds and sitting rooms, thus giving the space a sense of embossed plasticity.

Finally, we place great emphasis on the quality of our food products. Your breakfast basket is comprised of homemade biological Greek products like olive oil, marmalade, honey, Naxos traditional graviera cheese etc…

FURNITURE

To reassure your best relaxation we have equipped all our beds with high-quality mattresses by ‘’,a company certified by ISO with 5 stars for its comfort ability and sleep quality. We also offer you the opportunity to choose the kind of pillow you prefer in order to enhance your experience of relaxation. Our carefully selected hypoallergenic cotton bed linens and towels are also at your disposal in our villas.

The natural wooden material is extensively used throughout the rooms from the kitchen to the furniture and much of it was made of recycled wood upon request.

Our unique bathrooms have pebbly floors for natural heel massage and the marble hamam tubs are entirely adjusted to the apartments for their new usage.

OUR LOCATION: PLAKA BEACH

Plaka beach in, with its golden sands and clear blue waters, entrances and captivates the visitor from the first glance. The picturesque tamarisk trees that line the beach lend a unique charm to this Cycladic landscape. The sun disappears right before your eyes as the horizon is painted a fiery crimson.

Just 30 meters from the sea in this magnificent location, you’ll find the newly built the Salt boutique houses.
