The Villa is an exceptional six-bedroom Eco-Friendly home available to rent on an exclusive basis throughout the year for retreats, events, holidays and photo shoots, located in Constantia, one of the oldest areas in Cape Town and South Africa, and home to incredible wine farms, unrivaled natural beauty and some of the most renowned restaurants in town.

Your perfect holiday will be attended to by an in-house manager assisted by a housekeeper; both will tend to all your needs throughout your blissful days.

Swimming Pool & Gardens

Set over 2100 square meters of land, the lush gardens will enthrall you with their white roses, grand weeping willow, unobscured views onto Constantia’s Green Path where you will encounter the occasional horseback rider and the beautiful swimming pool around which your family will relax and play. Most of the water used for the garden and pool is rainwater, as well as borehole water. We try to minimize their uses in order to preserve our environment.

Living Room & Patio

The house boasts two different living rooms, one formal, and one more casual which includes an indoor barbecue.

Both enjoy the comforts of working fireplaces and both overlook a serene covered patio equipped with a rustic outdoor dining table and lounge chairs.

Kitchen

The kitchen is a unique three in one kitchen, dining room and the second living room lighted by the gentle glow of a huge fireplace. It is the place where everyone meets when not outside by the swimming pool.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with oven, microwave, pantry, washing machine, pots, pans, and silverware for all.

We will offer you filtered water from our borehole, and locally sourced organic and OMG free produce, preferably in glass, paper, or cardboard.

Master Bedroom 1

This beautiful ground floor suite features a king-size handmade delicate bed, working chimney, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, and a large marble bathroom with soaking tub, double vanity, separate shower, and windows which open to the garden. It includes a very large walk-in closet as well as a separate wardrobe.

There’s also a private grass patio off the bedroom in a quiet, shady part of the front yard. This bedroom is a true refuge offering privacy and a sense of relaxation and rest.

Master Bedroom 2

With its open doors to the patio and swimming pool, the second master bedroom offers tranquility and comfort in a king-size bed with en suite bathroom which includes a full bathtub and separate shower.

Bedrooms 3 & 4

Quietly nestled in the house’s inner garden, bedrooms 3&4 both enjoy the comfort of king size beds, nurtured in a soothing and delicate hue of pastel colors. They share a beautiful bathroom.

Bedrooms 5 & 6

These two bedrooms are ideal for your children; one with two double beds, and the next other with a fold-out catch, giant screen tv with a game console.

LOCATION

The villa is a small peaceful paradise situated in the heart of the Constantia Valley, best known for its Winelands, 20 minutes from the commercial center of Cape Town.

There are a number of established wineries such as Groot and Klein Constantia, Beau Constantia, Constantia, and Steenberg, each with a famous restaurant.

The world-renowned Table Mountain is all around you as the Constantia Winelands are situated on the slopes of the back of Table Mountain. If you are not the avid hiker, the cableway can be reached within 20 minutes from the Villa.

Equally distant, the Waterfront is a tourist hotspot with many magnificent restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater that hold regular events. The wine routes of Paarl, Franschhoek, and Stellenbosch are also major attractions of the Cape and are less than an hour away for a magnificent experience.

18 world-class golf courses are within very easy access to the guest house and tee times can be arranged for your convenience. The distance to the airport is 28 km or approximately 45 minutes.
