1. VILLA MELLOW

It is a six bedroom villa with a 4000 m2 garden facing east and is 400 m from the sandy beach of Pori Bay.

The villa’s proximity to the beach and the charming natural surroundings make the outdoor lounge area ideal for spending a lazy afternoon with friends and family. The outdoor Jacuzzi invites the guests to cool down from the summer heat and enjoy the magnificent view of the beach and the sea caves.

The shaded dining area is perfect for having dinner after a long day at the beach. Open spaces let the landscape flow into the interior, which features a joyful blend of traditional and contemporary elements.

The palette is playful, with the dominating earth tones highlighted by vivid splashes of color. The living room is airy and bright with wooden floors and large windows that let the sunlight in and offer fabulous views of the nearby beach.

The comfortable open plan kitchen is ideal for those who like to cook while chatting with their friends who sit at the adjacent dining area. The bedrooms are spacious and cozy, with carefully selected fabrics and funky accessories, a touch of whimsy that creates a loving, homely atmosphere. The lower level has a bright colored lounge and three bedrooms, all equipped with skylights to let the sunlight in.

2. LUNAR ISLAND VILLA

It is a six-bedroom villa with a 5500 m2 garden, facing east and is 400 m from the sandy beach of Pori Bay.

Considerable attention has been given to the outdoor areas. The open sky bathtub is ideal to wash away the salt and sand after a day at the beach or to soak in and cool down from the summer heat.

A delightful patio with a comfortable set of built-in sofas with colorful cushions highlights the arty white-washed wall with its several small windows.

The same windows let the sunlight in, creating playful schemes and adding an element of surprise as we enter the house.

The living room with the fireplace is bright and airy, featuring a sophisticated blend of traditional island style and modern touches. The bedrooms are comfortable and cozy, with colorful, funky accessories that add a personal touch.

The spacious open plan kitchen is ideal for those who like to cook while chatting with their friends who sit at the adjacent dining area.

The lower level is entirely modern and brightly colored, with its character and palette. It consists of an inviting playroom and three cozy bedrooms, all equipped with skylights to let the sunlight in.

THE LOCATION PORI BEACH

Due to its horseshoe shape, Pori beach offers adequate protection from the prevailing north wind. With beautiful white sand and clear turquoise waters, Pori is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and windsurfing in a pristine natural setting.

There is also a choice of two beachfront tavernas, which means villa guests can spend interrupted hours by the sea. Peaceful and unspoiled, the surrounding area is good for walking, mainly since motor vehicles are noticeable by their absence.

The resort is not far from Chora / Port, the only village on the island just 3 Km away. Apart from its charming harbor, this traditional Cycladic settlement has some shops, tavernas, and café-bars, making it ideal for a stroll, a refreshing drink or a delicious meal of fresh seafood.

THE ISLAND

Koufonisia include three main islands:

Koufonisi or Pano (Upper) Koufonisi

Kato (Lower) Koufonisi and Keros

Geographically, they are located on the southeast side of Naxos and on the west side of Amorgos and belong to the complex of the Lesser East Cyclades. Uninhabited Keros is a protected archaeological site from which a large number of ancient Cycladic art pieces have been excavated in the 20th century.

Koufonisia means “the hollow islands” in Greek – two low little islands of a friable rock have had their coastlines nibbled away by the wind and waves to form beautiful beaches and caves and strange rock formations.

Easy to get to, flying to Mykonos or Santorini and then the Sea-Jet boat to Koufonissi (1,30 hrs trip) or the High Speed ferry from Piraeus (port of Athens) to Koufonissi (4,5 hrs trip). This is the Cyclades as they were 50 years ago. We love it.
