Sunday villa – a complex of two twin houses in Pyrgos village.

Sunday villa is located few meters away from the crowded village of Pyrgos, in a peaceful area which is within few minutes’ walk from the center of the settlement. The villa offers spacious living rooms with a dining table, fully equipped kitchens, 2 bedrooms with 2 double beds, 2 bathrooms with shower and 2 lovely lofts in the living room with 2 double beds. The outdoor areas offer a terrace with a heated private swimming pool (with a Jacuzzi) with great panoramic views of the sea, the village of Pyrgos and the island. Sunrise views are a must of the Sunday villa for those who are looking to see this beautiful physical phenomenon. Sunday villa offers private parking, breakfast and daily housekeeping.

Guest access
Guest can reach us either by taxi or rental car. The bus station is within 5 minutes walk.
Getting around
Pyrgos is located at the south part of Santorini, a hilly village with panoramic views of the whole island. This hillside village was declared a protected settlement in 1995. Pyrgos is one of the five typical fortified settlements of the Santorini. On the hilltop, you can find ruins of the famous central Kasteli. Pyrgos was the capital of Santorini from the middle 18th century, and the center of education, with the secret school church “Agi Apostoli” and the monastery of Prophet Elias. The picturesque village is preserving its traditional and local architecture with its neo-classical mansions and small white houses, narrow paths leading up the castle, galleries, vineyards, churches and you name it! Near Pyrgos, one can find the famous Monastery of Prophet Elias, located at the highest point on the island. The monastery operates since 1711 AD and carries a long history as well encloses an important museum with ecclesiastical items, Icons and Relics Collection.
