THE VILLA

This stone villa is built on a fabulous private land of nine thousand square meters.

A variety of plants embellish the landscape, adding to the uniqueness and the beauty of the surroundings.

The property consists of two independent volumes granting guests

The view to the Aegean Sea and Kampos beach is sensational and the orientation of the house is ideal, keeping it protected from northern winds.

MAIN BUILDING

The main building is built on two levels with their own separate entrances in each level.

UPPER LEVEL

On the upper floor, one enjoys the main sitting area and the fully equipped kitchen as well as a very spacious master bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

On the spacious veranda, there is a shaded romantic dining area with a teak table for 10 people, overlooking the pool and the sea view. Here one greets family and friends enjoying a Mediterranean breakfast and later on iced cocktails and delicious dinners.

LOWER LEVEL

On the lower level (but not underground) there is a studio apartment with two single beds, a baby crib if requested, a sitting area with a sofa bed and an en-suit bathroom. (sleeps 2-3 people)

GUEST HOUSE

The ultra-relaxing other building with its shaded pergola and separate dining area is suitable for all kinds of moods. It is a few steps away from the main building and the pool, with two identical bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. The interior style is overall minimal modern decor with fresh white hand painted stone walls which create a very pleasant ambiance.

The house is built with visible hand-crafted local stone and can be described modern and yet very cozy.

The wooden furniture is tailor-made from teak wood. All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned.

In this house, we are passionate about cooking. Our kitchen is fully equipped to serve the purpose. This includes: Gas stove, 90cm oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, Nespresso machine, toaster, hand mixer, juicer, dishwasher and a rich variety of cooking utensils.

Furthermore, the villa is child-friendly and as we often host families, we have baby cribs and baby chairs available.

LOCATION

The house is located just 500 meters of the small village of Kampos. There you can find a small taverna (restaurant), a bar, a nice church were many local weddings take place, and a playground. The closest beach is Kampos which is considered one of the best (five minutes’ drive), it is well organized with a snack bar (wi-fi), a restaurant and water sports. Also, there are many beaches within a 10 min. drive and restaurants.

The main town is named Skala, it is the port of the island, and there are 3 ATM machines, a post office, two banks, a supermarket, a grocery store, a fishmonger etc.

Should you be interested, the island has a heliport.

The house is situated on a secluded landscape with a fascinating view of the beach and of the mountain. Also, it is well protected from the northern winds due to the landscape.

Boat hiring, car hiring and motorbike hiring can be arranged. Especially for car hiring, early arrangements are recommended.

The island is famous for the monastery of Apocalypse, built around the cave where John the evangelist envisioned the book of Apocalypse. The monastery of Patmos was built in 1088 AD, and its museum and library are considered to be among the best of its kind in Greece.
