The setting of this former convent (built around 1720) and the garden with mature trees (another unique sight along the Caldera) shelter from curious eyes and create an atmosphere of serenity. The view, stretching across the entire crater from world famous Oia in the North to Akrotiri in the South, changes colour throughout the day creating a mesmerizing scenery for unforgettable family reunions or parties for large groups of friends.

Both the villa and surroundings are beautiful beyond words…so beautiful that they almost seem unreal. The view is breathtakingly expansive; the villa has an ineffable quality, a warm energy that welcomes your home with a distinct emphasis on privacy.

Recently renovated, the villa features traditional Cycladic architecture, famous for its uniqueness and charm. It is just a short walk to Santorini island’s capital, where a multitude of shops, restaurants, bars, and museums can be found, and an easy drive to Santorini’s extraordinary archeological sites and stunning beaches.

Our venue can accommodate up to 20 people for weddings, vow renewals, anniversaries, workshops or simply for a family or friends’ holiday where you can enjoy the exclusive private use of the villa.

Even at maximum capacity, the luxurious villa offers plenty of space for people to spread out and find their favourite corner to enjoy the serenity, never-ending-view and the Mediterranean sun glittering on the Aegean Sea.

This is a private villa where you can spend your holidays with your family or friends in a unique private setting have your wedding or a christening, your anniversary or any other kind of joyous event. You could also, of course, choose this villa for a workshop or other professional meeting.

It should be noted here that Santorini rightly claims range of unique gastronomic offerings thanks to the volcanic ecosystem. Delightful local products, innovative cooking and world-renowned wines combine for unforgettable epicurean pleasures

Weddings

We believe that a wedding at Sun RideResidence is truly a unique experience. The entire residence is at the disposal of the newlyweds and their guests, which gives them the possibility to select the time and procedures they require without pressure or haste.

Meetings

The Sun Ride Residence can accommodate small groups of up to 20 people for meetings and workshops. In cases of a bigger number of participants, guests may be accommodated in a numbers of rented rooms that are located within walking distance from the Residence.

• a studio with a double bed, ensuite bathroom (shower), an indoor sitting area, an outdoor sitting area and a balcony
• a studio with a double bed, ensuite bathroom (shower), a kitchen, an indoor sitting area with a foldout sofabed, an outdoor sitting area and a balcony
• a patio of 100 m2 that includes a swimming pool, deck chairs, pool bar, a WC, a fully equipped kitchen, a BBQ and two sitting areas for 12 people each.

Consisting of:

• a double room with an ensuite bathroom (bathtub)
• a double room (mezzanine) with an ensuite bathroom (shower), a study and a sauna
• a sitting area, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen
• a studio with a queen-size bed, a bathroom, a kitchen, a sitting area, and a balcony
• a double room with an ensuite bathroom (shower) and a sitting area
• a patio of 50 m2 which includes a Jacuzzi, a BBQ and an outdoor sitting area for 12 people
• All the areas of the residence have unique direct and pristine view of the Caldera and the famous sunset of Santorini.
