Atlanta is wisely positioned on the top of the Caldera at the most beautiful spot of Akrotiri with unlimited panoramic views of the volcano and the whole length of the Caldera. Consists of 5 autonomous private villas that combine ornately the bright Aegean tradition along with the thoughtful and sophisticated luxury. The creation of Atlanta is a visionary idea, full of passion and Cycladic art in its most natural and raw form. Atlanta A

The private villa is a self-contained luxurious two-story detached villa with a total area of 188 m2, which has 4 double bedrooms and 1 stone-built double bed suite with en-suite bathroom with a separate entrance.

The first floor of the villa features a large living room with a dining area, small kitchen area with fridge-minibar, Nespresso machine and electric kettle, lounge with LED TV 50”, as well as a double bedroom with built-in king size bed, wardrobe, boudoir, LED TV 24” and a private en-suite bathroom with shower.

Both the lounge and the bedroom have direct access to the large balcony on the upper floor, which is adorned with a white pergola and a white marble outdoor dining table where you can enjoy your breakfast with a panoramic view of both the volcano and the Caldera, as well as the beach of Vlychada and the settlement of Akrotiri.

The ground floor of the villa features 3 bedrooms with built-in king-size bed, wardrobe, boudoir and LED TV 24”, one of which has a private en-suite bathroom with shower, while the 2 bedrooms have a shared bathroom with shower.

The bedrooms have direct access to the exterior of the ground floor, which features a large infinity pool, a king-size sunbed, a wooden dining table and chairs, a garden, where you can relax all day long while enjoying a swim in the swimming pool accompanied by coffee, drinks, cocktails, wine, and snacks.

The private villa “Porto Pireo” is a self-contained luxurious three-story detached villa with a total area of 213 m2, which can accommodate up to 6 people.

The ground floor of the villa features a large lounge, with a large dining area, a living room with LED TV 50” , a kitchen with a small dining area, fridge-minibar, Nespresso machine and kettle, and a small W.C.

The lounge has direct access to the outside with panoramic views of the volcano and the Caldera. The exterior of the private villa features a large infinity pool, a king-size sunbed, garden and a wooden dining table and chairs where you can enjoy your breakfast and relax throughout the day with a swim in the pool accompanied by coffee, cocktails, wine, and snacks.

The first floor of the villa features a communal hall with boudoir and 2 bedrooms, each of which includes a king-size bed, wardrobe, LED TV 24″ and a private en-suite bathroom with an open-plan shower. The first-floor balcony has a wooden dining table and chairs, where you can enjoy the magnificent sunset of Santorini.

About the volcano

Santorini, Thira or Stroggyli is worldwide famous for its volcanic form. Infinite beauty, the effect of the mother of the earth is giving even more tension into what she has disappeared.

Its central part was blasted along with the volcano crater around 1613 BC, resulting in the destruction of the prehistoric civilization of the island and the creation of we name nowadays as the Caldera of Santorini. You can visit the boats that make excursions to the volcanoes:

Nea Kameni where you can walk to the volcano crater.

The Old Kameni with the Hot Springs. The waters are yellowish in color, 5 degrees higher than the rest of the sea, and the smell of the aphid is intense.

The islet of Thirassia, which according to mythology, was named after the younger daughter of King Thira, Thirassia, to which the islet was granted in order to build a magnificent palace.

Settlement of Akrotiri

Akrotiri is the most important prehistoric settlements in the Aegean. The ashes buried the settlement that today comes into the light from the excavations and confirms the brilliant civilization of the time.

The archaeological site is located near the Akrotiri settlement, a place that is definitely worth visiting.

Particularly important are also the museums of the island such as:

The Prehistoric and the Archaeological Museum in Fira, that exhibit statue, sculptures, inscriptions and clay vases.

You can visit the traditional village of Pyrgos, which was the capital of the island until 1800 BC. You will get impressed by the narrow alleys and arches while hosting the Byzantine Church of Panagia Episkopi.

About beaches

Red beach

Red Beach is such a seductive beach on the island with dark blue waters, reddish pebbles that once were like its reddish big rocks and is situated at a very close distance from Atlanta.

White beach

Its white rocks, sculpted by the wind, meet with white pebbles and urge you to swim in its crystal clear waters.

Vlychada

The beach is adorned with fine black sand and dark pebbles, elaborately carved rocks that look like they struggle with time. Relax and feel the warmth of the enchanting landscape.

Perissa

One of the most famous and popular beaches of the island with fine black sand, where you will find many beach bars with a wide variety of water sports.
