Welcome to Caldera-Sunset View Villa at the beautiful island of Santorini.

Caldera View Villa, one of the jewels of Santorini, is positioned in an ideal location. Alone on top of the Caldera’s cliffs, in the middle of our 10.000 square meters property with 300 meters frontage on top of the cliffs.

And because its located in the middle of the Caldera, it has a unique view of the Volcano and maybe, the best and the most romantic Sunset in Santorini.

Caldera View Private Villa’s philosophy is to provide you an unforgettable stay. It has flat easy access, without tiring steps. Comfortable Parking (2.000 m2) exactly outside of the Villa. Caldera View Villa is built in a traditional Cycladic style with peaceful colors. It’s a 2-floor maisonette (80 m2) fully equipped, far from other buildings (the closest neighbor is at 100m distance).

It is only 500m from the traditional settlement of Megalochori, 7km from Fira Town and only 3 km from Akrotiri Village with the Archeology ruins and the unique Red Beach.

MEGALOCHORI VILLAGE

Megalochori is one of the most picturesque and historic villages on the island of Santorini. Its existence is recorded back to the 17th century. It has a history of merchants and wealthy land barons exporting visa to wine that the island still produces. The most important things to visit are that of “Panaghia ton Isodion” dedicated to Virgin Mary, with a beautiful wood carved icon screen and Byzantine icons of Russian style, and Aghios Nicolaos Marmaritis. This latter is, in fact, a Doric temple of the 4th century B.C. converted to Christian Church. It is also worth seeing the wine factory of Boutaris, one of the most popular firms of winemaking in Greece. Two local feasts take place on the 1st of July on the feast of Aghioi Anargyri and on 15th of August, in honor of the Assumption of Virgin Mary.
